Car-To-Car Streaming? As I embark on a 13 hour drive from Kalamazoo, MI, to Harrison, NY, I can only wish that the technology being developed by Carnegie Mellon University graduate students was already on store shelves. The technology (dubbed “Steer-To-Steer” by Brad Hill at the Digital Music Weblog, would allow users to stream playlists to a radius of, say, 30 miles, and potentially incorporate collaborative filtering to give drivers the best music within that radius.
