BACKGROUND STORY:
I wrote this song for the sole purpose of proposing to my wife. Throughout our relationship, I’d told her my first love song would only be for the girl I’d marry. One summer evening, while thousands of miles away from my girlfriend, I finally realized I didn’t want to be apart from her anymore. Three nights later, the lyrics for this song popped into my head. Another five months later, I serenaded her, then proposed, and she accepted.
