PhilaFunk, an independent music hosting, selling, and networking site, is hosting a national battle of the bands where the winning band gets $10,000 in cold, hard cash. Basically, bands submit music, listeners vote on the posted music, and finalists are flown to Philly for the production of several music videos that will be used to determine which band is the best. Hey, take that mp3 that’s rotting away on your hard drive and upload it, dammit.
