Getting Your Music Heard in Podcasts

Dave Jackson at the Musician's Cooler wrote a nice article giving musicians advice on how to get your music heard by, and podcasted by, podcasters.  He focuses on managing your music through the Podsafe Music Network, but much of the advice (file formatting, communicating with podcasters, etc) is generally applicable.  Check out the article here.

I'm trying to build up the range of music on my podcast directory, and would really like some promo podcasts from Indie bands. We are not a conglomerate, just lone webmasters in the big pond. Open to suggestions. thanks.
