I’ve grown tired of the music business. Social media is hype. DIY music pundits are self-help bullshit artists leeching off the dreams of hopeless musicians and bands. And my music kinda sucks.
Who wants GarageSpin.com? I’ll sell it to the highest bidder, along with any copyrights associated with my 2-song catalog.
New Music Strategies, Mashable, and Seth Godin can all take a long walk off a short pier. I’m deleting Cakewalk Producer from my harddrive as I type. I may even send some “hate” email to Greg Rollet, Bob Baker, and Ariel. I’m removing Brad Sucks, Scott Andrew, MC Frontalot from my Christmas card list.

Chris: Thanks for the compliments, really. Unfortunately, it is what it is. And you're 5 minutes too late, I just gave the domain to a Golden Retriever. By the way, things change…I may change my mind…tomorrow. (Wow, April 2nd already…time flies.)
Just about to cry myself to sleep tonight until I saw the "your best friend", and then I knew it couldn't be real! Although, I've been hoping you'll be my best friend since I found your blog! I wanna Christmas card too!!
I have to say–when I first the subject title, I thought, "Oh my gosh–did someone offer $100K for the domain name or something?" As I could imagine that would be the only reason why you'd sell it. Alas.
Ha! Funny. You're not the only one. At least 4 people today thought my wife was pregnant with twins today, despite clear signals to the contrary… It's been a good April Fool's, it has. ;)
Hm, indeed. It'd be painful, but yes, I'd certainly be willing to sell the domain for $100k. Of course, then I'd change my band name to Side Kicks Only, and start using SideKicksOnly.com domain… Or RadioVine… Or MusicMozaic… :)
Thats a real real shame. I've enjoyed all of your blog posts, you were one of the few music blogs with some character to it. If you wanted to be charitable and donate your domain name, I would certainly love to take it off your hands. Alas, one of the many reasons I read your blog is that I have little money to offer and I was looking for an insight to make more.
