Oasis and HostBaby Team Up To Serve Unsigned Musicians

Oasis CD Manufacturing enlisted HostBaby (a division of CDBaby) to provide web hosting and wizard-based automated website design to independent musicians.

Upon reading this announcement, I checked out Oasis’ services for the first time, and was impressed. They offer a number of free marketing and promotion services to unsigned bands that use Oasis for CD or DVD projects:

- Radio promotion on CMJ-charting OasisSampler™ CDs
- Airplay on XM Satellite Radio
- 1 year of Sonicbids electronic press kit (EPK) service
- Distribution through CD Baby, Amazon, Borders.com, CDnow, Tower.com, Virginmega.com, Waldenbooks.com
- Digital distribution (paid downloads of your music) through The iTunes Music Store and many other companies
- Livewire music career management software and a Galaris CD-ROM with 14,000 verified music industry contacts
- Direct upload of your setup info to Nielsen SoundScan

Very cool. Definitely worth considering if you’re an unsigned musician looking to publish your own CD.

The company VE Associates also has a CD duplication and replication company that has exceptional customer service and product quality.

I prefer to use New Cyberian Systems in San Jose for my CD duplication and replication.
