Good Band Names Destined for Failure

Busy day today = short post. I recorded an acoustic guitar track for my song, “Spinning Daydream,” finally.

For all those independent home recording musicians trying to decide on an artist alias to use once hitting it big, an amusing post by Daryl Sng talks about band names, the good and the bad, the creative and the ho-hum:

It’s true, not everyone can play guitar, but everyone has some random ideas for band names. Imaginary band names are, I think, our tenuous way of clinging on to the adolescent dream that we, too, could be rock stars.

Would “GarageSpin” be a good band name?

Hey, thanks for the link! About GarageSpin as a name… depends on what genre of music you would play…

Good point, Daryl. I may post a couple of my tracks (still in production) on this site some day, and perhaps then you may be able to help me decide. ;)

Hey, thanks for the link! About GarageSpin as a name - depends on what genre of music you would play… the name suggests some sort of DJ/electronic music thing to me.

You guys are the 80535 best, thanks so much for the help.
